After the debacle in the Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections, journalist Zulkarnain Saer has raised concerns about the weakness of BNP's student organization, Chhatra Dal. In a post on social media, he wrote, "Why doesn’t BNP promote or bring forward young people like Hamim? I also heard about Abid before the DUCSU elections. If they keep putting forward 35-40-year-old 'students' and only showcase them all the time, it’s a problem!
He further mentioned, "Recently, I see BNP organizing seminars on democracy and good governance in various 5-star hotels, but I don't see faces like Abid, Hamim, or Maoyeder there. It’s time to bring these promising young leaders into important discussions now."
